First day of filming
Today we began filming for one of our features which is about Street Art in Malta. It actually is a general introduction about the conflict topic that would be discussed in the studio next year. We went on locations such as San Ġwann and Msida Skate park. We filmed the various art works, however, we encountered several problems. Such problems included the cameras back focus, which was not adjusted appropriately resulting in a soft image. Also, the camera lens had some smudges that were visible on the video. The exposure was also of a slight problem. We had a properly lit subject however when trying to decrease the over-exposure we obtained a dark image.
Seeing that we obtained a fair amount of problems, we thought best to film all over again. This time counteracting the problems by having a back focus chart, and lens cloth.
